City of Albuquerque expands grant program to help businesses install security cameras

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque is expanding its program that offers grant money, which business owners can use to install security cameras.

The Community Connect Security Camera Grant Program will now be available to businesses in East Downtown and South Broadway. The expansion will provide grants of up to $20,000 per property to cover the cost of security cameras that connect directly to the Albuquerque Police Department’s Real Time Crime Center.
