Albuquerque rapper sentenced to prison for drug trafficking, gun offenses

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque rapper and convicted felon who trafficked large amounts of drugs and continued committing crimes while in custody was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison, according to the DOJ.

The FBI’s Violent Gang Task Force began investigating Jerry Bezie, 36, after he openly flaunted gang affiliation, guns, and money on social media. On March 23, 2023, FBI SWAT executed a search warrant at Bezie’s home in the South Valley and found multiple guns, various drugs, including Xanax, crystal methamphetamine, and fentanyl pills.

In total, investigators seized more than seven kilograms of methamphetamine, over 100,000 fentanyl pills, $64,000 in cash, multiple firearms, and body armor, the DOJ said…
