APD investigates West Side infant death

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police are investigating the death of a one-month-old baby in the northwest part of town. They say AFR responded to reports of an unresponsive infant at a home on the 7300 block of Briar Ridge Ave. NW Saturday around 8:30 a.m.

Arrest made in overnight NE Albuquerque homicide

AFR attempted life-saving measures, but the baby died at the scene. The death is currently being investigated by APD’s Crimes Against Children Unit. News 13 will provide updates as they become available.
