ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – This weekend, Albuquerque’s School of Rock celebrated 10 years in the Duke City. The school specializes in teaching its students everything about music, from writing it to playing it, and anything in between.

“We have rookies, which is four to six-year-olds; we have our Rock 101, which is seven to eleven; and then our performance group, that is 12 to 18. And then as an adult, you can do Grad Band,” said School of Rock Owner, Dawn Malone.
To celebrate the anniversary, students performed for their parents, teachers, and the community, showing off what they’ve learned. A tour was given of the campus at Saturday’s celebration, as well as a bake sale to raise funds for the school…
