ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – KRQE News 13 has received new video of one of the teens charged with allegedly killing a man to steal his car, and he’s been behind high-profile crimes since he was 14.

A family member walked up to an officer asking about how to turn someone in. He was speaking on behalf of 19-year-old Jiovanny Rios. Rios is one of the teens accused of shooting and killing 37-year-old Christopher Sanchez. Police say Sanchez confronted them outside his home in northeast Albuquerque as they tried to steal his truck.
Ring video from that night in 2024 shows Sanchez running out the front door of his house, armed, and sneaking around the back of the truck. That’s when multiple shots are fired…
