Valencia County Sheriff’s Office speaks on drug trafficking arrest

VALENCIA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Valencia County Sheriff’s Office gave information on a big drug bust. New video showed fentanyl, meth, and guns stashed away in a home. Deputies said the accused drug trafficker was a mom who they said was putting her seven-year-old son in danger.

In the early hours of September 4, Valencia County deputies were gearing up to enter a home. Deputies obtained a search warrant for a trailer home in Los Lunas. Investigators with VCSO, Los Lunas Police Department, and the Isleta Police Department said 37-year-old Adelita Martinez, who lives there, is suspected of drug trafficking…
