ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man was indicted on federal charges following a DEA investigation that allegedly linked him to a large-scale drug trafficking operation in Albuquerque, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico announced Wednesday.

The feds said Jose Magana Garcia, of Mexico, who was in the United States illegally, was identified as a fentanyl trafficker and supplier. Garcia allegedly delivered approximately 2,000 fentanyl pills to an undercover officer through middlemen. Agents later tracked Garcia to an apartment in northeast Albuquerque, where surveillance showed him conducting suspected drug transactions…
