MAP: Speed cameras in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — The City of Albuquerque currently has 20 speed cameras in place. The installation began back in 2022 to address “widespread, dangerous speeding on city streets.”

Eight new speed cameras coming to Albuquerque

According to the city, data shows a significant decrease in average driver speed, and total number of drivers speeding. Camera location is based on on crash location, with priority being placed on streets where speeding, injuries, and deaths are more common.
