Los Alamos National Laboratory subcontractor arrested for firing gun in hotel

LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) – A subcontractor for Los Alamos National Laboratory was arrested on Tuesday, after police said he fired a gun through multiple hotel rooms. According to the arrest warrant, Mathew True was staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites in White Rock when he discharged a gun into the ceiling of his room.

Homicide investigation underway in far east Albuquerque

Gunfire damage, as well as a bullet, were found in the room above his two days later. The warrant said that True admitted to firing the weapon while intoxicated, but didn’t believe it to be loaded.
