Albuquerque Fire Rescue: Two people swept away in arroyo during overnight rain

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue says two people were swept away in an arroyo overnight, but were able to get themselves out.

AFR received reports around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night of two people that had gotten caught in fast-moving water in the Arroyo del Oso at Moon. They say the two individuals were able to get themselves out at the washout, west of Wyoming Blvd. Emergency crews evaluated them at the scene, but neither needed to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
