ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Friday saw a beautiful start to the day for most of New Mexico but the evening hours could bring a big change.
Downtown Roswell had a beautiful sunset with some beautiful oranges, reflecting the nice conditions across southeastern New Mexico. As the day goes on, conditions may change though.
Rain chances are forecast to move in from the west. It’s going to bring in a lot of clouds and the threat of ongoing isolated thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening.
The severe threat – hail and high wind – is mainly going to be across western New Mexico. That’s consistent with what Futurecast is saying about storms starting in the west and then moving toward central New Mexico…
