Tuesday’s Five Facts
[1] Two employees shot, killed at O’Reilly Auto Parts following dispute over oil filter – BCSO responded to the O’Reilly’s store off Coors and Blake Sunday evening. and found two employees shot dead in the parking lot. According to a criminal complaint, the employees were in a dispute with 27-year-old Ismael Tena, who as in the store to exchange an oil filter. Deputies say the employees followed Tena out of the store after he took some motor oil, that’s when he pulled a gun from his truck and shot them. Tena is facing two charges of first degree murder.
[2] Albuquerque woman charged for shooting gun near school – According to a criminal complaint, Shawnna Boardman told police she was looking for her stolen motorcycle last Monday evening when she confronted a man and woman near McCollum Elementary School. Police said Boardman was seen on surveillance video shooting a gun in the air. Boardman was arrested and a judge ordered her to be released while she awaits further court proceedings.
[3] Slightly more moisture ahead and warmer weather – Another push of monsoon moisture into New Mexico will bring scattered storms Tuesday and Wednesday. More storms develop Tuesday afternoon across western, central, northern, and eastern New Mexico. These could drop heavy rain, causing flash flooding.
