ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque has broken ground on a new park in the International District. The two-acre park will be built next to the library on Central Ave., east of Louisiana Blvd. The features include a playground and art highlighting the history of Route 66.
The city said the International District is one of the most diverse, historically significant neighborhoods, and pairing the park with the library will go a long way to revitalize the area. “It’s like this.
