[1] BCSO deputy-involved shooting under investigation – BCSO says Saturday around 8:43 p.m., deputies responded to an alarm activation at a business on the 6000 block of 2nd Street NW, between Osuna and Griegos. While they investigated the alarm, they say they encountered a man on the property. At some point, a deputy-involved shooting occurred. One individual was shot and died on the scene. No deputies were injured.

[2] Taos County Sheriffs investigate Rio Grande Gorge suicide – On Sunday, Taos County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported the closure of pedestrian traffic on the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge due to a suicide. They say the victim was a 15-year-old Taos boy. Deputies say this is the third time in as many weeks they have been called to recover the remains of somebody who has jumped from the bridge.

[3] Summerlike weather for first day of fall – Another surge of moisture will move into New Mexico from the west on Monday. This will bring a chance for isolated to scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms in western, central, and northern New Mexico.
