BCSO identifies man killed in deputy-involved shooting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday released the identity of a man who was killed during a shooting involving a deputy in northwest Albuquerque on Saturday.

The shooting took place as deputies responded to business alarm on the 6000 block of 2nd Street NW, between Osuna and Griegos, around 8:43 p.m.

BCSO said 41-year-old Jonathan Dykstra was shot and died on the scene. No deputies were injured…
