Store closes after shoplifting case turns into arson

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.  — A popular shopping spot in Albuquerque now has no customers inside after police say a suspected shoplifter took things too far.

It happened inside a Marshalls in northeast Albuquerque, and the suspect involved is no stranger to causing trouble in stores.

Nathan Castillo has been wanted by police before. He has a long criminal history including shoplifting, battery and trespassing. This is his first arson charge after police say he set part of the store on fire…
