Albuquerque mayoral candidates to meet in upcoming events

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Candidates running for mayor in Albuquerque will meet in upcoming events where voters can hear from them about their vision and plans for the city.

A candidate meet and greet is set for Sept. 25, from 5:30-7 p.m., at the Holiday Park Community Center. Then, they will participate in a slate of forums:

  • Sept. 30
    • Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, 5:30-7 p.m.
    • Sheraton Uptown, 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (tickets available here)
  • Oct. 6
    • State Bar of New Mexico, 12-1 p.m.
  • Oct. 7
    • BikeABQ and Strong Towns ABQ at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 7-9 p.m.

At least two debates will take place before Election Day:

  1. Congregation Albert synagogue, Oct. 12
    • 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  2. Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors, Oct. 16
