Free groceries for veterans and low-income seniors in Bernalillo County

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. — Bernalillo County is partnering with local nonprofit Silver Horizons to offer free groceries to low-income senior citizens and veterans in the county.

According to the county, they are offering free groceries to all veterans – as well as people who are age 50 and older and meet these monthly household income requirements:

  • $1,304.17/month for one-person household
  • $1,762.50/month for two-person household
  • $2,220.83/month for three-person household
  • $2,679.17/month for four-person household
  • $3,137.50/month for five-person household

Grocery pickup is available on these days in October at these locations:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 7, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
