APD arrests man accused of hitting, killing UNM employee

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police have arrested a man accused of hitting and killing a UNM employee Thursday and fleeing the scene.

This happened on Lomas and Standford Drive NE on Thursday around 6:45 p.m. Police say 42-year-old Brian Boyce was driving at a high rate of speed on Lomas and fatally hit Alec Montoya as he was crossing the street.
