Experimental Wavetrails Festival makes its return to Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Light shows, sound systems, and turntables. The second annual Wavetrails Festival is highlighting New Mexico talent with an experimental visual and audio experience.

At the Fusion venue in northwest Albuquerque, the co-founders and co-producers of the festival say they wanted the experience to be immersive and one-of-a-kind. “It gives a chance for local electronic musicians doing both dance music and more atmospheric and more soundtrack-based music to perform in a unique environment with some expert and talented visual artists. Kind of bring them together and create new things,” said Jim Coker, Wavetrail Festival co-producer.
