APD arrest suspect in serious injury crash

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) is investigating a serious two-vehicle crash that interrupted traffic on the west side for many hours Sunday morning. Around 3:15 a.m., officers responded to a call about a crash in the area of Coors Bypass and Ellison Dr.

APD found a vehicle that had rolled over with a man trapped inside. Police say rescue units arrived and were able to transport the man to a local hospital in critical condition.

On Sunday night, APD arrested 25-year-old Seth Mitchell, saying he caused the crash and was driving drunk. Upon further investigation, police say a white Honda was driving west on Ellison through the intersection of Coors on a green light…
