ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A homeless man in Albuquerque is accused of trafficking a 17-year-old runaway and using her to sell drugs. On Thursday, special agents with the New Mexico Department of Justice arrested Pete Guevara after they said he had manipulated the girl into dealing fentanyl for him. Investigators believe Guevara may have had a sexual relationship with the teen as they lived on the streets.
Former New Mexico State Police officer pleads guilty in fraud case
If convicted, Guevara faces up to 12 years behind bars.
