ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The city is foreclosing on properties where a Motel 6 used to be in northwest Albuquerque and a CVS used to be in northeast Albuquerque.
The city’s Code Enforcement Division is foreclosing on the former Motel 6 at 6015 Iliff Rd. NW and the former CVS at 7105 Central Ave. NE.
“We have done everything we can to try and get these property owners to clean up their act, but they continue to neglect their responsibilities,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “These two properties have been hotbeds for crime and a drain on resources, and that’s going to stop.”…
