ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque City Council has a lot to discuss during their meeting Monday, including the parks, plans for downtown and city roads.
City Councilor Dan Lewis is asking his fellow counselors to approve an extra $2 million in city funding for emergency park grass and turf replacement projects.
According to Lewis’s proposal, there are large patches of dying grass, growing weeds and other aesthetic issues at parks all over Albuquerque.
