Hypersonic missile company could build new facility near Rio Rancho

SANDOVAL COUNTY, N.M. — A California-based hypersonic missile company could soon build a new production and testing facility in Sandoval County.

The project, titled “Project Ranger,” would involve advanced weapons manufacturer Castelion building a 700-acre rocket motor production facility a few miles west of Rio Rancho.
