Man arrested for breaking into Buffalo Exchange in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A man is in jail after having to hand over the clothes he is accused of stealing during an alleged break-in at the Buffalo Exchange in Albuquerque.

Police arrested Matthew Robertson for allegedly going through the ceiling to break into the store early Wednesday morning.

An APD officer responded to an alarm activation at the store on Central Avenue, just east of Girard Boulevard. The officer arrived and found a broken ventilation shaft. They also saw a suspect inside, allegedly holding merchandise and trying to leave through the back door…
