ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A man is facing a kidnapping charge for his alleged involvement in what police believe is a stash house for migrants in southwest Albuquerque.
Police arrested Francisco Galvez and found a note on him, allegedly showed a list of people and if they were free or how much money they owed. Investigators said they were brought across the border.
Police first learned about this Wednesday. Dispatch received a call from someone who said they had been kidnapped and were going to be killed if they didn’t pay as much as $18,000, according to the criminal complaint.
