2 men arrested after deadly shootout at New Mexico convenience store

MILAN, N.M. (KRQE) – Two men were arrested this week for a deadly shootout at a western New Mexico convenience store. New Mexico State Police said Adrian Murrietta exchanged hostile looks and gestures with Myron Sandoval at an Allsup’s in Milan, three miles west of Grants.

Moments later, Murrietta and Dominic Jaramillo approached Sandoval and his companion, and that’s when NMSP said Jaramillo and Sandoval started shooting at each other.

Jaramillo was hit and killed. Murrietta and Jaramillo fled but were arrested days later. Jaramillo is charged with second-degree murder, shooting at or from a motor vehicle, and tampering with evidence. Murrietta is charged with second-degree murder (accessory) and tampering with evidence…
