ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man accused of killing someone at a house party made an appearance in court Thursday. Judge Matthew Chavez ruled Caleb Parker-Arias will remain behind bars while awaiting his murder trial.

Albuquerque police say officers responded to a home near Bridge and Central, where a 25-year-old man was dead inside the residence. Police say someone called 911 and said they found the victim the night before and said he may have slipped and hit his head. After interviewing people, APD said Parker-Arias and the victim got into an altercation after everyone left the party. Police say Arias went to a friend’s house and told him he killed the victim.
