Albuquerque City Council passes first traffic code changes in over 50 years

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque City Council unanimously approved the first changes made to the city’s traffic code in more than 50 years.

Approved Wednesday night, the changes better protect “vulnerable road users” – basically anyone not in a car – by outlining when drivers have to stop for them and the rules for those VRUs.
