Albuquerque, NM – New Mexico State Police (NMSP) officers in Albuquerque made 149 arrests over the past week as part of an ongoing operation to combat crime in the metro area, officials announced Thursday.

According to NMSP, the arrests included 34 felony charges and 115 misdemeanors, bringing the total number of arrests since the start of the operation to 291. Officers said the coordinated effort targets criminal activity through what they described as “sustained pressure” on repeat offenders…
