ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Albuquerque City Council is set to vote on an emergency resolution to allocate $2 million toward restoring the grass in city parks.City Councilor Dan Lewis said our parks are dying and the situation calls for an emergency resolution. Lewis said if they do not do something now, they will have to redo the entire park next year.
“The Parks Department has communicated that it’s a funding issue, a budgetary issue. Yet, they requested a million dollars less than they did last year,” Lewis said.
