In the heart of Albuquerque, a former foster child is struggling to make ends meet. Having aged out of the system, he’s working tirelessly to survive, but life hasn’t been kind. The vicious cycle of poverty has him trapped, and without a computer, he’s finding it challenging to apply for food stamps and other aid. He doesn’t own a car, and the cost of transportation to a food bank, library, or PO box is beyond his means. To make matters worse, he suffers from severe PTSD and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, which makes everyday tasks a struggle. His only lifeline is a friend who lives miles away in Pennsylvania, who, due to the insecure nature of his residence, can only offer limited help.
