Hiker rescued from Sandia Mountains trail

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Fire Rescue worked with local and state law enforcement to rescue a hiker Tuesday from a trail in the Sandia Mountains.

At around 11:47 a.m., AFR dispatched to a report of an injured hiker on the Embudito Trail. They responded to the trailhead and used a basket to carry the hiker out.
