Suspects arrested for stealing $200K worth of equipment from local nonprofit

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police arrested multiple suspects for stealing a trailer with $200,000 worth of specialized equipment from a local nonprofit.

James Lucero and Abel Baca Jr. are accused of driving off with a trailer containing specialized equipment the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation used for its basketball program, including all but one of their adaptive basketball wheelchairs. The damage added up to around $200,000.
