Funds for CTE programs in Albuquerque public schools in limbo

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico has ranked last in education for years, and the programs that excite students could be in jeopardy as the state’s largest school district has not distributed the funds needed to help keep them operational.

“We need to know that we’re equipping these students with the soft skills and the hard skills that they need to succeed in a career pathway.” Janet Delgado, a culinary teacher at Rio Grande High School.
