ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue is investigating after an overnight explosion at a house in northeast Albuquerque. Crews were called to a residence near Lomas and Eubank around 10:30 p.m. Sunday to reports of a home explosion.

Crews arrived on scene and confirmed a significant explosion and a working fire at the home. Crews were able to get the fire under control and one person was rescued from inside the home. That person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. New Mexico Gas took multiple readings and did not detect any leak in the surrounding areas. AFR is investigating the incident.
