AFR fight Thanksgiving night empty building fire across from UNM

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AR) investigators are looking for the cause of a fire at a vacant commercial building across from the University of New Mexico (UNM). Just after 10:00 p.m. Thursday, AFR responded to the fire at the empty building on Vassar and Central in southeast Albuquerque.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue continues investigating northwest house explosion

It took crews half an hour to get things under control. The fire was limited to the building, but it’s expected to be a total loss. No injuries were reported.
