Active weather conditions continue into the start December

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Mountain snow and spotty rain showers are moving into the far northern parts of the region this evening and continue into the first half of Monday. Some locations in southern Colorado are forecast to receive 7-10″ of snow, with some of the mountain peaks receiving up to a foot. Some areas in northern New Mexico could see 3-6″ of snow. This system will move out through the evening hours on Monday, leaving behind cooler temperatures.

Through the middle of the week, another area of low pressure will build off to the west. This will bring more chances for rain and mountain snow heading into Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will continue to remain near average through the workweek…
