BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Formal state charges have been filed against a man accused of pointing a gun at Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office deputies near Central Avenue and Wisconsin Street on Nov.12, Sheriff John Allen announced Monday.
Deputies attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle for invalid registration and found that the driver, Curtis Harper, had a revoked driver’s license. The passenger, later identified as Jason Baca, had an outstanding felony warrant related to dangerous drugs, BCSO said.
