ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — An Albuquerque man accused of beating someone to death at a gas station will remain behind bars. APD says last month a fight broke out at the Maverik gas station on Bluewater and 98th Street.
Suspect arrested in connection to fatal West Side gas station beating
Surveillance video shows 33-year-old Gabriel Rodriguez punching and kicking the victim then leaving. Police say the victim died on scene. Rodriguez was arrested at his home. He is facing a murder charge. On Monday, Judge Courtney Weaks ordered him to remain in custody while awaiting trial.
