BERNALILLO, N.M. (KRQE) – A family is still mourning and asking for answers after their young boy was killed in a fatal hit-and-run. Now, one year later, no arrests have been made.
However, Bernalillo Police say there’s been a new development in the investigation, and they believe they have found the suspect’s vehicle, which has since been taken into custody. They said state police collected DNA from the vehicle, and it’s currently being processed in a lab, giving his family some hope for justice.
“It’s really hard for me trying to move on without him,” Isaac’s sister Mary Lynn Herrera said. “We’re used to being stuck by each other’s hips.”…
