Bernalillo County property owners are reminded by Treasurer Tim Eichenberg about the upcoming property tax deadline. The first half of 2025 property taxes must be paid by December 10, 2025. Payments made after this date will incur penalties and interest.
A 1% monthly penalty will apply, with a minimum of $5 and a maximum of 5% of the total amount owed. There is also a 1% monthly interest charge on the base tax.
