ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — New video is revealing what led up to a crash outside UNM Hospital that killed a pediatric nurse. The man charged in the crash, 43-year-old Brian Boyce, faced a judge on Monday. He pled not guilty to vehicular homicide and other charges.

Body cam footage shows the aftermath of the crash, where investigators say Boyce was driving the car that hit UNM Pediatric Nurse Alec Montoya as Montoya was crossing Lomas on his way into work.
Newly-released security camera footage shows a view of Lomas moments before the crash. That video appears to show Boyce’s car weaving through traffic and going much faster than other cars around it.
Prosecutors say officers calculated Boyce’s car was going 74mph before the crash. Boyce is accused of vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a crash, and an open container charge.Boyce is being held in MDC while awaiting trial…
