Old Town Holiday Stroll begins Friday evening

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The City of Albuquerque is inviting everyone to the Old Town Holiday Stroll on Dec. 5 from 5-9 p.m., featuring a tree lighting ceremony and local entertainment.

The event will kick off with the lighting of a 30-foot sequoia replica tree in Plaza Don Luis at 6 p.m. Attendees can enjoy performances by local choirs and dance groups throughout the evening.

Visitors can sip hot chocolate while enjoying performances from different music and dance groups.

Street closures

To ensure safety, several streets in Old Town will be closed from 2:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Dec. 5. Free parking is available at the Albuquerque Museum lot and surrounding streets…
