Albuquerque Fire Rescue celebrates upgrades at Fire Station 12

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Fire Station 12 in east Albuquerque celebrated a massive upgrade on Friday. The department fired up the water cannons, raised the flag, and pushed in their new fire engine by hand.

City continues work to bring small box homes to Albuquerque

The old station has a long history in the neighborhood. “I talked to someone who said over 40 years ago, the crew from Station 12 delivered one of her babies. I wasn’t going to point you out! We realize Station 12 has been an important part of this community for a long time,” said Albuquerque Fire Rescue Chief Emily Jaramillo.
