2 arrested at Sunport after chase over stolen vehicle

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – KRQE News 13 is learning more about the heavy police presence at the Albuquerque International Sunport on Thursday afternoon. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, officers approached a vehicle that they believed was stolen when the driver fled.

Law enforcement disengaged, and air support tracked the vehicle to the Sunport, where two suspects fled on foot. Both were apprehended by police inside the airport with use of force. The suspects were identified as 22-year-old Leonardo Montana and 20-year-old Ivan-Molina Cordova. Both were charged with evading arrest and receiving a stolen vehicle…
