Albuquerque families get to have breakfast with Santa

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – This weekend, children and families go to ring in the holidays by eating some bacon and eggs with Santa Claus himself. The Los Padillas Community Center hosted its annual breakfast with Santa event.

Over the weekend, this family-friendly event gave the community a chance to get into the Christmas spirit with a fresh breakfast meal, live performances, photos with Santa, and presents donated by local businesses. “We had a raffle, and we handed out some gifts. We had some sponsors donate some presents, we had some local companies donate some Christmas trees to give out to some of the underprivileged families that can’t afford trees, so we were able to give those,” said Julian Burton, assistant manager of Los Padillas Community Center.

This is the 15th year of the event, and they say they already have plans for next year…
