Albuquerque police were called to the scene and noticed a car staged out front. That’s when officers said the three siblings tried to leave the Target without paying for the items, but were stopped before making it out the door. Police said Bernal drove away without her siblings but was later found and arrested. The minors were released to their parents. Bernal is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center.
