ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s a problem pitting a neighborhood against bow hunting in the Albuquerque Foothills as people who live nearby say it’s dangerous.

For 15 years now, Fatemeh Namdar has called the Glenwood Hills neighborhood near Montgomery and Tramway in the Sandia Foothills home, where deer have become a common sight. “Just as close as these bushes right here is where they’ll hang out,” said Namdar.
Over the last few years, she’s noticed a problem that makes the area less than serene. “We have seen them right in front of our house them dragging the corpse of the deer right into their truck, we’ve seen them gut the deer and leave the remains on the trails where people and families have had to see that as well,” said Namdar…
